The following are some inauthentic Ahadeeth circulated by those who put on the garments of knowledge from amongst the common folk and the media. Some of the meanings of these narrations may be correct, however, attributing them to the Messenger of Allah is incorrect, amongst them are:
Winter is the spring of the believer.
The basis of every cure is the cold.
The angels are plesed at the departure of winter due to its hardship upon the poor.
Fear the cold for indeed it killed your brother Abu ad-Dardaa
The heads of the children of Adam are softened in winter, that is because Allah created Adam from clay, and clay is softened in the winter.

تتردد على ألسنة بعض الناس من العامة، ومن أهل الصحافة - ممن يلبسون ثوب العلم الشرعي فيفتون فيُضلَّون ويضلُّون- أحاديث ضعيفة بل باطلة سنداً ومعنى ومتناً وإن كان منها ما معناه صحيح لكن لا يصح رفعه إلى النبي ومنها:
الشتاء ربيع المؤمن.
أصل كل داء البرد.
إن الملائكة لتفرح بذهاب الشتاء لما يكون على الفقراء من الشدة والبلاء.
اتقوا البرد فإنه قتل أخاكم أبا الدرداء.
قلوب بني آدم تلين في الشتاء وذلك أن الله خلق آدم من طين، والطين يلين في الشتاء.
