“I wished to write a commentary of the Book of Allaah, with what Allaah has blessed me with, so that it may be a reminder for the sincere, a tool for those with foresight and an aid for those traversing the path. I wrote it for fear of losing it, and I only intended to bring the meanings [of the Ayaat] across by it.”
